The appeal procedure is tomorrow. This page does not treat observer notes as an official transcript or predict the appeal outcome. It puts four recurring groups of warning signs from public hearing coverage and existing records in one place: when a child was injured, feverish, bruised or lost teeth, did the responsible social worker complete the necessary verification, medical confirmation, supervisory escalation and protection action?
Tomorrow must show more than attitude
The accused has a right to defend and to maintain innocence; prosecutorial claims also require proof. The appeal should match every warning sign, visit and non-escalation decision to evidence.
This case cannot be reduced to whether one person “saw” something. What must remain is a reviewable record of timestamps, observations, supervisory decisions, medical confirmation and inter-agency handoffs.
Six questions that can no longer be skipped
- Who first received information about injury, fever, bruising or tooth loss?
- Who verified the source and the medical facts?
- What did each visit observe, ask and record?
- When should visit frequency, supervisory review or placement have escalated?
- Why was cross-agency protection not activated as risk accumulated?
- If the same signs appeared today, could the system make a traceable safety decision within 24 hours?
