Activity Record

On 31 October 2026, we gathered at Tamsui MRT Station and went on to Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf for a peaceful placard action and public advocacy, carrying one message: the Kaikai case must not be forgotten.

This page records only the confirmed date, locations, and advocacy purpose; attendance figures, outcomes, and images that have not been published or verified are not invented or inferred here.

The 10/31 Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf advocacy action concluded successfully!

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person. Let us continue to speak up for Kaikai. ❤️

Next, please continue to follow the 6 November second-instance hearing in the negligent-homicide case involving Child Welfare League Foundation social worker Chen Shang-jie, and stay engaged with subsequent developments. 🙏

Our advocacy action at Fisherman’s Wharf was completed smoothly.

Today, standing in the sea breeze, we spoke up for every child who needs to be seen and protected. The Kaikai case must not be forgotten; gaps in the system, failures at every link, and the responsibility of those involved must continue to be examined.

May every person involved face responsibility under the law. No one should be able to evade the truth through silence, deflection, or the passage of time.

Child protection is not a one-day action. It is a commitment that continues until every child can grow up safely.

Date | Saturday, 31 October 2026
Gathering time | 12:30 PM
Gathering point | Tamsui MRT Station

The action centered on placards and public dialogue, with continued attention to child protection, accountable justice, and institutional reform.

What We Continue to Call For

Children’s safety and dignity must not fade from public view. This action does not reach conclusions about any individual whose responsibility has not been established through due process; it asks every relevant link in the system to face its professional duties, accountability, and necessary improvements.

We seek reforms that can be examined, adequate child-protection resources, and public action that does not leave children behind.
